Has anyone given notice over email? I tried calling the partner I work twice with and sent a text asking if they can talk but really need to give notice today so I have atleast a few days between the two jobs. If I wait until they call me back late in the evening, is it appropriate to give HR notice late in the evening? I just cleared background check at 4:15PM so couldn’t really give notice earlier in the day.
