Has anyone implemented a school-wide STEM program where you incorporate PE as well as ELA and STEM? I’ve found a couple and wondering what everyone has used

I teach at a public STEAM school in California. We urned one of our elementary schools into a STEAM school. We use our Benchmark Advance ELA curriculum and integrate that into our science units. We do PE but no specific program.

Recently, I inherited a mess of a project. During the scope stages, it became more and more apparent that effective communication hadn't been established across all key stakeholders.

I'm a firm believer that the right communication establishes a structure for effective project execution. It lays down clear project goals and objectives, leaving no room for ambiguity.

Creating a communication matrix often makes a difference to planning. How do you manage your communication within your projects?

Well I recently told a guy I have been seeing I have HSV-2. We have not yet been physical but it’s been heading that direction. Man I hate this part - waiting to see what his response will be after he researches and talks to his doctor. I’m on daily meds which help reduce transmission risk. You’d think that since HSV-2 affects 20% of Americans and likely a higher % of gay men, there would be less taboo but it’s hardly ever talked about. Anyone else in my shoes? Or had it disclosed to them?

My friend and I (both Asian and gay) were seating at the cafe on the 2nd floor of Saks Fifth Ave today waiting for our table for the restaurant on the 9th floor. A lady came and asked where are we from, and “why are you two men in this mall? This is for female only”. I said this mall sells products for all genders. She said she has walked all floors and never saw a thing for men. Then she threw curse at me. I stood up and asked her to repeat what she said. She pulled her phone and called 911

The teacher shortage is a national crisis (one that was foretold decades ago). In other industries, when there is an employee shortage for a specific field, the company would increase the salary and benefits for that position because of the law of supply and demand. Why doesn't this work for education? Shouldn't teachers be paid more because we are in short supply? Should certain subjects be paid more?
