Iceland to Ireland 🤔

I have an offer from Capco, it was much lower then I expected for the SC level EA at £80k. I'm at a stable role at a bank with a great WLB. My wife is a front line work. So I can take care of the baby, with the next coming soon. My dilemma is, become a consultant or stay where I am at. Consulting looks attractive as I would be speed up my career progression. Though the travel costs and child care does not warrant the base salary Capco Should I take the hit and join capco?

Cities will be just fine. Asia has gone through this and I'm fairly confident their cities continue to grow.
I live in the burbs as I don't like cities, but that decision doesn't have anything to do with cv19. I'd live in the woods or on a farm if I could. My wife has other ideas.
Left, moved to the burbs. Sitting on my back porch (gasp) drinking a glass of wine with my wife while my dog runs himself ragged in the yard chasing squirrels. I wish I did this so long ago.

I’m staying. Eventually things will be back to normal and in the meantime, I can capitalize on the lower rent prices and quieter streets

The city’s gonna do fine if people leave. Depending on your perspective, it might even be better off.
Left the city a year ago and never looked back. I have space, quiet, and the convenience of driving and parking when i need to run errands. Granted, I’m in my 30s but it was a good move.

The only reason to be in the city is for the Ladies. There will still be more here, than in the burbs. So cities will be fine for the 20+ crowds as always

I’m in NYC. Can’t see myself in the burbs like ever.
