In honor of National Voter Registration Day, The New Yorker released the transcript of a previously unpublished interview with James Baldwin, who gave a first-hand account of "Freedom Day 1963," a Black voter-registration drive in Selma, Alabama. Baldwin's descriptions from that day are so vivid and detailed that you can feel the fear and anger of the event. If you have a couple of minutes, I highly recommend you read it.

Looking to sublease my studio near Lincoln Center. It’s in a luxury doorman building with top amenities, modern kitchen (separate from the bedroom), and in-unit laundry. The location is great: close to 2 subway stations (A, C, B, D, and 1 lines), 10 minutes walk to Central Park, 5 minutes walk to the Riverside Park, supermarket is in the corner. My lease is up to the mid of Mar’22. I love the building and just move for personal reason. I can send you pictures over. The monthly rent is $2,200.

Producer (social/some integrated) to product management (non technical)? I’ve been in social advertising for 4 years as a manager but did UX for a bit. I love managing teams but falling out of love with the work/life balance of advertising. Is it possible to pivot to tech again and also is the work life balance better? And if so courses I should brush up on? TIA!

Finished my Amazon loop. Such an interesting experience. I prepared around 20 stories but still found myself having to pull some more that I hadn’t prepared just for some of the questions they asked. Wish me luck.

Why Amazon guys are so egoistic. I joined Amazon 2 weeks back, got assigned some tasks.

In morning call everyone is saying to connect with them if i need any help. But when I go to them for help they don't even reply and even if they do they just give me a document link.

Stuck in something where infra understanding is required, atleast share me the ip, url , of the dev environment.

I’ve been seeing a therapist for about 6 months. And while I like her a lot, I’m not sure I’m making progress. And IDK if that means she’s not the right fit, or it’s just that I’m stuck.
