Has anyone transitioned from practicing litigation/ID to being a claims representative? If so, would you recommend it?

Just found out that end of the year I will be promoted from analyst directly to VP and since it’s such a large jump I’ll be the lowest paid VP in asset management at only $135k TC. Should I stay it out and wait for TC to align or take the promotion and jump ship bc I will likely get paid more elsewhere given how recruiters/other companies eat up hiring recently promoted ppl from other firms?

1. How difficult is it to move to a PM role with no workex?

For those who hire new software developers, does it make you stand out if you get your certificate from a university instead of a coding academy (like coding dojo or something)? Now he wishes to come back to India and wants to join some company here. But seems like similar opportunities are very less, say close to 3-4%. Hi fishes! I'm currently looking to do a bit of a career switch from research in Medchem to a field service technician role (for laboratory instrumentation). I have applied a few places and got several phone interviews lined up. Can anyone tell me what type of questions I may get? Or general advice on making this switch?

I can’t get out. I’m a barred attorney looking to move into a JD preferred role. I don’t like being at a firm. I currently work at a medium sized firm and have about two years experience in personal injury litigation. The billable hours and lack of work life balance are really getting to me and I am looking to switch to something else out of litigation, preferably in house. I am also looking to relocate to a different state. How do I go about properly marketing myself to companies that might not take my relocation and minimal experience seriously?

Assuming that I'm okay with a salary of 70K and more, and that I really don't want to work at a law firm. Is it going to be difficult for me to return to law with two years of experience and one year working in a legal adjacent role.
