Rising Star
I got the one made by SideTrak and it’s only a one side monitor.
Bulkiness: It’s like having two legal pads attached to my laptop. Will fit in most laptop bags.
Weight: Fairly light weight, 1.7 lbs. it doesn’t add that much weight to my backpack and since I have a shoulder injury, that was very important to me.
Ease: Software is fairly plug and play, like any other monitor. It doesn’t come with any bloatware either.
Mobility: It is attached by magnets so you can easily pop it off if you need to slim your laptop down or you don’t need it if you’re working from home for a long period of time.
Customer service: I accidentally popped off the top of it and lost one of the screws and I just contacted customer service and they’re sending me a whole new monitor.
Overall: I really like it are usually work from my recliner and I have a little stand for my laptop and it’s just really easy to sit on my recliner and work with the extended monitor. It may be too small if you are at a desk every day.

It’s comfortable. I’m not aiming to impress anyone but myself; especially in my own home.

I like my asus portable monitor way more
If you have an iPad you can use it as a wireless or wired second monitor with the Duet app. It’s what I use when traveling and it’s quite handy.
Sidecar is better. Duet just did not do it for me. I got an asus zen screen based on popular opinion. So far so good

No experience with the monitor, but this is the first usage of ‘xebec’ I’ve seen in the wild. A fitting name as a xebec was a three masted ship
Xebec is now a random assortment of syllables that some dude in Shenzhen is using to sell eWaste.
Almost all the generic electronic stuff on Amazon these days is sold by a company that used a grab bag of vaguely western phonemes to name itself.
Get a 14” ThinkVision Lenovo travel monitor that doesn’t drain your laptop battery. It has a 8% discount right now: https://www.lenovo.com/us/en/p/accessories-and-software/monitors/office/61dduar6us?orgRef=https%253A%252F%252Fwww.google.com%252F&referer=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com%2F
This - assuming your firm allows you to expense, just get a brand name one.
I personally like mine, but I wouldn’t recommend using on a plane as they’d absolutely stick out over your neighbors’ tray tables. Only other complaint is that it’s heavy and if your laptop’s hinge isn’t very stiff, it’ll tilt the screen back. The only kickstand is a hole to stick an Allen wrench into, so they need to come up with an improvement for that.
Otherwise, it’s been a lifesaver when I need multiple displays and can’t bring my full monitor to a hotel. The price point is pretty high IMO, but I’m sure the price will drop as they scale up.

It’s a bit bulky to carry
Jeez! Looks too good to be true. Wait until a brand name comes out with it
Won't ever happen because it's obviously terrible
Lol. Posted the same thing a few weeks back and the bowl tore it apart.
For real. If you show up with that on my project I'm going to put your head in it and slap you with the monitor wings to make an idiot sandwich, Gordon Ramsay style
What are those??
I have an external usb-c monitor and it's really good.
HOWEVER, 2 screens for 450$? Looks too cheap for what you are getting and probably those supports will not hold much during time or you may have some bad quality. You can give it a try but it doesn't look really solid.. have you looked for any review on YouTube?
PS: I have seen the website, they don't even tell the screen resolution or refresh rate, which is stinky. At least you want a 1920x1080 with 60Hz refresh rate to actually feel comfortable while working with it. Anything less than that will just look odd or laggy
This is the one the interweb thinks I need. https://www.thexebec.com/products/xebec-tri-screen-2
Great way to make friends on planes, buses… pretty much anywhere you’re in close proximity to smother and they can’t move!
nerd alert!
I'd get a USB monitor. I have one from NexiGo that I bought for about $225, and it is just lovely.
