Hi, I was a Teacher by profession for 8 years and last 1 year I worked as AI Product Associate. I basically write content for python, Data Science and Artificial intelligence with some hands on projects. I want to grow and find more opportunities. I usually look a head of time and try to find a local gym to get a day pass (or week pass). All I need is a barbell and/or some heavy dumbbells to get in a quality workout, hotels usually don’t have that.
Dumbbells usually go to 40 or 50, barbell I don’t normally see. I agree with the bands 👍🏻
My company had a perdiem policy instead of actual expenses. I would always find a hotel near a gym and just pay extra for a month to month "cancel anytime" kind of membership. I paid a bit extra but figured it worth it.
My thought process was that, yeah I'd probably end up paying a few hundred extra per year, but I didn't pay for 60% of my food throughout the year so it evened out.
I usually plan workouts in advance and know the hotels and gyms
I always try to find an LA Fitness nearby. If there isn't one, I suck it up and use the hotel gym.
