and I was able to negotiate and increase the offer..
now I have mail confirmation from the HR of the new compensation structure that it has been set in backend. however he is saying offer letter cant be changed..so i had to sign the old offer letter while i have mail confirmation for new compensation.

I have not but apparently it runs faster than the M1 MacBook Air which I was using for a while. My old M1 ran great but I bought it during the chip shortage and it only had 8 gigs of RAM. It would get a bit laggy when dealing with large docs. I wouldn’t try to run a NEO for video editing or Adobe programs. I personally have a MacBook Air with an M4 and 24 gigs of ram and absolutely love it. Cannot recco the MacBook Airs enough. Now the M5 models are out. Just order it online and get extra RAM and you will have a lightning fast and super light machine. Apple makes the best laptops for the money.

Got one for my wife who just uses it for browsing, movie streaming, word docs, etc.
If you're not trying to do any real editing, photoshop, lightroom, etc., it's a legit computer to have.
I have an m3 Max/128gb and it’s an absolute beast. So much so that I get a little nervous taking it on trips. Plus, it’s QUITE heavy. So I’ve been considering an Air or a Neo as a remote machine. My workflow very rarely requires intensive editing or grading, and sometimes requires heavy Photoshop work like coming or extensive retouching.
For 80% of what I do I think the Neo could hack it, but to save myself the headache, Ima pick up an M3 Air/24gb for the other 20%.
Plus I don’t think I can live without a backlit keyboard.
Being said the Neo2 is supposed to be a pretty massive upgrade and likely to drop this year, so no rush. Loads of time to weigh the options.
Thanks for asking! I was considering buying one but haven’t figured it out yet so appreciate the answers
