Has anyone used Calendly to help track the dozens of interactions and calls with recruiters and agencies? I am either spending hours on the phone scheduling or being ghosted even if I reply within the day I receive the job description and invitation to talk.

My skills are under the umbrella of risk management, business analyst, business systems analyst or risk analyst… there seems to be high demand and I’m looking to stay organized and set myself apart by making it easy to schedule time.

That is actually a pretty great idea. It’ll make you seem more attractive as a candidate and since the recruiter has to take the proactive step to click on your link to book an appointment with you, they are likely to stick to the appointment (see research under the commitment principle in Persuasion by Cialdini).

Make the description copy and video call/phone connection to your Calendly on brand.

Yes, when I was interviewing I would share it early in the connect and have my profile URL featured on my resume for recruiters to reach out asap. I had more than one comment on how innovative and streamlined it was and how appealing it made me as a candidate.

If I’m contributing to my Roth 401k vs pretax 401k and my employer matches 10% of my contributions. My employer match be 10% on my post tax contributions right? Technically meaning I’ll be getting less of my 10% employer match then if I were to do pretax 401k since that match would be on a higher amount?

I have joined Nagarro almost a year now as a senior architect. However, I see lot of issues here. The company is great so far as employee friendliness is concerned. It may be rated as the top most company in that regard and that is why attrition is well within control. However, there are issues:

1. Project Allocation - allocated to projects without fitment with the role or skills. No internal job portal

2. Lots of seniors in bench for long time

3. No way to give company feedback

Hi all, recently in touch by Spotify recruiter for a Sec Engineer position for remote EU and was told that range was 60-80 out of base salary and equity. Had 2 years of security experience out of my 4 years. Was also told that there is no bonus scheme or no sign in bonus 😕 Not sure how I feel about this tbh.

What do you think?

I wanted to get people's opinions on leetcode, codewars etc when prepping for interviews. I am a junior full stack dev looking to move to a better paying junior role or a mid role and honestly these style of questions have always stumped me. I have found that in a year of work to have never found them useful in tackling real world issues. Now I'm moving from a junior to a mid can I still expect leetcode style questions?

I work mainly with react, TS, node, graphql, mongoose and mongoDB.

Company T is paying me way more (twice) than Company B. And I like company T more. However, they want me to start working in February if I get this position. If I end up getting the offer, I will have to quit my internship at Company B, almost immediately after I begin the internship.

Is this okay?
