Hello All, I have been selected in the interview at NTT DATA and also submitted documents as requested by Recruiting HR. However , it's been a 10 days after docs submission but haven't received any call from HR for salary negotiation. On email follow up with HR, he said he is on it and will come back to me soon for further process. Any views.NTT DATA

Fort Lauderdale ain’t that bad… if you want no commute and live in the younger people spots look for places in Las Olas, if you are willing to drive a bit to work you can look for a place in Aventura or Sunny Isles which is like a 30 minutes drive to FLL
I lived in midtown Miami and commuted to sunrise five times a week pre corvid, it is doable to live in Miami and work in broward. But I say try out living in FTL for the first year, it has a nice nightlife scene too and you can get a new apartment hundreds of dollars cheaper
Definitely not a bad move and way more cost effective to live in broward, but you’re only delaying the inevitable…corruption via perreo intenso/raggaeton
Moved to Miami 7 years ago, and I’ve had clients in Fort Lauderdale from time to time. I think it’s doable to still live in edgewater and make the commute. Traffic can be rough on 95, but I’d argue you’re going against it for the most part. May be biased, but its definitely a different vibe up there, and I personally wouldn’t want to give up Miami for the commute
Also miami beaches suck btw
California?! Their water in peak summer is colder than ours in January. California is great for surfing or just sitting on the beach, but not really a good place to enjoy the water.
FLL is a gr8 option and has LIFE too... Give it a try! Delray and nearby has kool spots also. You can visit 305 when u want;)
Do you have to be in person in Ft. Lauderdale? If so, I would live there bc the commute will be hell. I live by Miami Beach and it takes me 35-40 minutes to get home from work (by wynwood). Also, Ft. Lauderdale is cheaper.
Not everyday but occasionally will need to go in.
I used to work in Downtown Fort Lauderdale and lived in Miami the traffic isn’t horrible but it’s a long drive regardless and it takes a toll after a few years. Downtown Fort Lauderdale is great if you’re looking for a quieter more relaxed vibe it’s cheaper and you’re in between Palm Beach and Miami for more options. If you’re set on living in Miami and commuting try to WFH as much as possible and consider taking the Brightline to Downtown Fort Lauderdale instead of driving.
