Hi fishes,
I interviewed with Siemens Energy for SAP ABAP position on 21st Jan. The interview went on for about an hour and in the end, the interviewer asked my expected ctc and wanted assurance if I won't negotiate on Siemens offer with some other company as i am currently serving notice period and join Siemens if provided an offer.
Till now , the HR team has not reached out to me for salary discussions and my LWD is 7th Feb. Can i expect a call or i got rejected ?Siemens

I've had to deal with people like that. They seem to turn up in any organization. Nothing is ever really their responsibility or their fault, and if something goes wrong, or just doesn't get done, they're always ducking accountability. If you can't do anything about them, the best approach is to just keep your distance from them as best you can.

Trust me, I REALLY wish I could keep my distance. What’s sad is that this person has been with the company for YEARS and I doubt that he’d be forced out because of his behavior. Privilege is a nice card to have in your back pocket.

Sometimes I wish I could. Believe me. I wish I could.
I know the type. It's really frustrating to deal with, especially when you can't do much about it because they're not a direct report. I'd just focus on my work and try to avoid them. I'm guessing management will eventually tire of the excuses and get rid of them.

The sad part about it is that I think management won’t tire of the antics. They’ve been around for a while and are so engrained in the company I don’t think they’d be pushed out.
