Hi fishes, I interviewed with Siemens Energy for SAP ABAP position on 21st Jan. The interview went on for about an hour and in the end, the interviewer asked my expected ctc and wanted assurance if I won't negotiate on Siemens offer with some other company as i am currently serving notice period and join Siemens if provided an offer. Till now , the HR team has not reached out to me for salary discussions and my LWD is 7th Feb. Can i expect a call or i got rejected ?Siemens

Just got a offer letter from Macquarie, gurugram of 28lpa and HR said that it was bit tough to get approval for 28lpa (though verbal approval came within 3 days ), so now I believe that I should asked for 30 lpa itself. These days, is it a plus to have agency experience vs. those who don’t? Do hiring decision makers prefer those who have proven to be adept strategists across a variety of industries or those with more focused background in their specific industry? For context, I have about 5 years progressive agency experience in brand and campaign/messaging strategy, and about 3-4 years various in-house marketing roles before that as a younger professional. I’ve been working as a management consultant for 3 years in London across a range of industries. For the last 1.5 yrs I’ve been internal environmental lead. I created our sustainability strategy, tracked carbon emissions, applied for B Corp, set up company campaigns and currently looking at SBTI. Is it the no. of years as level 10 or the overall YOE thats is used to decide the promotion. Other than these two factors I am sure even performance plays an imp role in promotion?
