Hi Google - I am requesting guidance!
I am prepping for my interview specifically GCA and open ended questions. I struggle to tell if the outcome should be talking through your process/steps (maybe for a question like - how would you go about determining program complexity) vs a specific solution such as create x new product, for x market by x date based on my assumptions. Is the desired outcome something I can clarify with the interviewer?
So I've had 2 hiring managers and several recruiters from Amazon reach out to me about applying for some open positions with the company (android). I completed the coding assessment and now they want me to go through a round of 5 hour interviews next week. Is there a good chance I'll be hired if engineering managers are reaching out to me? I'm really not sure how badly I want to work for them and I don't want to be laid off months after being hired on. Anyone know what Amazon hiring is like?

Yes, anything more than 10 years old goes in the undated “previous experience “ bin and only if it was a well-known agency/brand
Would you list previous experience past 10 years below as your place worked and title?
Rising Star
Just started dropping off some earlier ones. Shaved off about 8 or 9 years.
I got rid of everything before 2005 and put things I want to keep in a related experience portion at the bottom but only if you can't discern a year/date by the work.
I decided to keep it all on. It's where I learned to cut my teeth, and it's what made me a better creative and creative leader. I don't apologize for anything in my life, and I'm proud of all of it.
I usually keep work beyond 10 years but note those experiences very briefly. I do that because I worked in the public sector before moving to private and my current role is a hybrid of both.
Yes. Mine starts in 2005 instead of 1995
I graduated college and immediately became a Vice President. And I’m only 29. And I’m totally still viable to work in this industry. Which is totally far out and groovy (uh oh, did I just blow my cover?)
