I checked with few of my connections, they saying I will be mostly allocated to Salesforce industries (Vlocity) project. Please suggest about the team structure and work life balance for this role.

Anyone have experience working CWX side of Facebook (Meta) ? These are the full time contract roles that potentially turn into permanent roles directly with Facebook (Meta). Had a recruiter reach out and offering me comparable TC and such, just curious if anyone has experience in these roles and success/failure of transitioning into permanent role. Thanks in advance!
How do you all deal with the guilt of leaving a comany/ team? I have been working at Microsoft for 1 year now, and seriously considering moving. I find the code base to be very legacy and I mostly work on obscure bugs that I spend so much time on, mostly due to navigating this large code base and not having much docs to refer to. Hence I find the job slightly unsatisfying, and that I could learn more elsewhere. However, I love the wlb, the team and company culture. The guilt stops my applying.

I just finished their interview process, it really isn't bad.
I only suggest making sure the compensation is worth it for you, because it it's a lot of time to sink into something you're really on the fence about.
I went through a 5 hour interview after my coding interview, definitely do not want to do that again
No. There is a 100% chance that you won’t be hired if you don’t do the loop, which will be difficult and will require preparation if you hope to be successful. Being recruited means the HM thinks your skills, as reflected on your resume, match the opening they have. The coding exercise is to prove that you can read, and that your skills are sufficient to warrant spending the time of the interviewers to screen you.
The loop is where you prove that
- you actually have the skills listed on your resume
- you show strengths in Amazon’s LPs
- you are someone the rest of the team wants to work with
You cannot get hired at Amazon without a successful loop, let alone skipping the loop, but your being invited to loop is also no guarantee of success and an offer.
Talk to the recruiter and the two hiring managers about the job they’re considering you for, ask about level and compensation, and decide if it’s a job you want. If so, prepare for the loop and try to knock it out of the park. Maybe an SVP or Distinguished Engineer like James Gosling may be hired solely on the strength of their resume, but the rest of us have to go through a hiring loop.

This right here.
Even if a HM wants you on his/her team, Amazon will probably still require you to go through the extensive interview process to prove that you are indeed qualified to join Amazon. Even though it sucks, it definitely does make sense to prevent favoritism if an HM wants someone they know to join over someone who's applying for it. It also lets Amazon verify that you've passed their standardized process and are suited/qualified to work at Amazon as an employee. The referred person may skip 1-2 very basic interviews, but would still have to do the coding assessments, technical/system design interviews, loops, etc.
No veg cxs
They have a quota to fulfill about reaching candidates. They would have reached other candidates as well
It’s ok. Had the opportunity to meet some nice people, just didn’t click with the HM and didn’t care too much for not having had an offer. Only regret is spending 8hrs preparing for a technical presentation that was ultimately deemed off-topic.
Negative aspect: Amazon doesn’t give you post interview feedback.
How did your interview go? Did you go through the loop?
