Yes, I know the comparison game is unhealthy, but my hypothesis is I don’t make all that much compared to others which might justify why I am not motivated to work beyond 9-5pm. I’m a very experienced veterinary assistant who has been doing this job for about 4 years in total however because of my skill level I would say I am more of an unlicensed technician. I’m looking for input on what I should ask for a raise. Given the minimum wage, I make about $5 over but that hasn’t really changed to match inflation of living, etc and truly feel like I should be making a decent amount more given my skills. Any helpful advice?

I recently got a verbal offer from KPMG strategy. Is that more prestigious than like, most other firms? Like, I know MBB is done with recruiting; I feel like below MBB for name recognition is the Big 4 and other firms aren’t as reputable. I’m trying to decide whether or not I should interview and apply to other firms or just take this one (assuming a written offer ever comes along). I do sales for a major engineering firm. Focused on new business and exploring new markets. Last year I was in the top 50% for order intake, and first in number of projects won along with number of new customers. I think this is extraordinary given the effort it takes to win new business.

For next year my goal increased by 2.5X, and less of what I bring in counts towards that target. I really enjoy my job but I will essentially be getting a large pay cut. Lost in what to do besides quit??

Hi Fishes, Sometime back I was interviewed for Technical Support Job role in my domain. T1 went well. T2, in my understanding was better only (not great like T1 but not blunder. I felt it was nice and i replied majority of questions). They released the feedback after 10 days with "Not Positive". I am not totally sure with feedback as I replied majority of questions correct. I am being bit curious with "Microsoft" tag. What can be the reason?
