Thinking about leaving my position at Red Ventures as a Software Engineer, for an internship at AWS with potential to be hired full time. Right now I’m making 75-90k a year at RV but from what I hear at Amazon Web Services I could be making double. But I worry about the burn out at FAANG companies. Opinions? I feel my salary is pretty low for what I do.

What type of wall? Burnout, career path?
Do you still enjoy insurance at all or are you completely unengaged? It sounds to me like you are burned out and a different job might be good if you still want to work in insurance. If you are done with it altogether then I would start looking at different industries.
Oh geez don’t let AS be the reason you leave insurance. I worked in FIVE different independent AS offices I will never do it again. Had one other agency owner ask me “oh good grief you’ve not left yet?!”. There are tons of other opportunities in insurance. Try life and/or annuities. That’s where the money is. Not totally easy, but lots of room to move around if needed. Get another hourly P and C or something, and then try life and annuities on the side until you’re acclimated. Just make sore to stay with a company that either buys you leads or shows you another way to not have to buy leads. DM me if you need more help….
I'm up studying for my P&C license in Texas. I saw your post. I'm hoping to be what you are. I have no experience to offer. I hope you don't mind if I follow and I hope you get the answer that sends you down the right path.
Get a job with Country Financial. They provide an amazing training. You have to get your license but they will reimburse you for it. I would start with the Captive first so you can get your foot in the door and get experience
I feel the pain of burn out. Been in the Medicare sales since 1997. Started my career with Bankers Life and Causality 1099. Recently the burnout started with companies that set unrealistic goals and duties.. The tiering isn't what they say it really is..
Calls are sent to whom they pick and choose. Very passionate about helping seniors. Trying to find my way back to 1099
