I'm a senior fraud analyst with almost 5 years of experience in the field (banking institutions). I've been unemployed for 4 months (contract got cut short). I live in MD. I have CFE and CFCS certifications. Does anyone have any leads in the fraud field? I'm open to working on-site, hybrid, or remote. Any advice or insights to share? Anyone have experience leaving banking institutions and working a different type of fraud area when they didn't have experience in that specific area?

I got an offer letter from citi bank but the HR said its not confirmed yet. It will be confirmed after doing the background verification. How harsh is background verufication and when should i expect BGV done and is there aby case of terminating offer due to background verification.

Currently work in a very unique Wealth Management ops role.

Getting paid 85k base with 40k in bonus plus about 35k~ in OT.

Money isn’t everything but in my late 20s it feels like the only thing important right now.

WLB is next to zero as 60hr weeks are the minimum as of late. Management feels like they are trying to push a few of us out. Was told not to expect much come year end for comp. Any suggestions on finding a new role/pay expectations?

I accepted a FADP offer but I have lifelong crippling anxiety It leads to (TMI) diarrhea, I can’t sleep at night, among a lot of other issues. I see a therapist and have their support in school accom. I appear high functioning and ever since uni went remote my life and performance has only improved. I know I’m capable of getting the work done and they must see potential if they hired me. But I feel that if I ask for WFH or other accom. I’m gonna be shooting myself and my career in the foot.
