Im from Kolkata, and have 2 offer -TCS kolkata, and a Startup from Mumbai, I have completed my LWD. TCS is delaying the offer and they informed me it could be in Mid October, TCS is giving 7.5 LPA and Mumbai startup is giving around 10, Im bit confused now, as per the current scenarion Im bit confused to join a startup in Mumbai leaving TCS, can anyone please suggest ? Hi.. I applied for an opportunity in UBS which I saw in Linkedin around 10-12 days back and I did receive a kind of automated email for online assessment. I took the assessment but post that I didn't hear anything. I see that job in linkedin is still accepting applications.

What shall I conclude from this? Is my profile not shortlisted for interview or they usually took many applications and then decide who shall be called for interview?

With A it is a generic opportunity where the work and the client would be decided after joining. But the learning opportunities would be more.

With W it was a client interview and the client is one of global leader in financial service and I really like to work with this client.

W's pay is 2-3L higher than A.

This is for Cybersecurity domain where A is comparatively better.

I'm looking to stay for long term, Please help me decide.

Why accenture is doing onboarding month before joing date? Is it one of the strategy of accenture not to loose candidates? Mostly candidates will get offers during thier last 2 weeks in NP. If the onboarding in Accenture is started a month back, what if some of the candidates get offer letter from some other company after completing onboarding in accenture?

I want to know from HR or senior management that do you offer less to female candidate provided she has same skills as a male candidate?
Does in IT industry gender doesn't impact compensation?
