Wow, that’s a monumental slip. What were the actual numbers? Did you check glassdoor etc?
Talk to people that work there and see whether it is recruiter that is incompetent or whether you are about to embark into a new world of pain
Pls... where is this firm so that I can cash in on a 100% salary bump! 😂
...and said he miscommunicated and was giving me offers for SM level instead, so he would have to adjust comp & title to be lower. I was under the impression that the amount was for M level and I was pretty happy about it.
I’m now unsure about the firm because there’s been quite a lot of little “oops sorry”s during this process. How should I talk through this with the recruiter on Monday? I of course don’t want my offer to be lower than what I was given, but am not sure what the convo approach should be now.
M to SM comp quite honestly is not that bad...
If I’m reading this correctly, same salary, higher title? It’s better the be the lowest paid senior manager than the highest paid manager. Your annual compensation adjustments can be far more generous when you’re not near the top of the band.
Thanks please do let us know! And good luck!
Verbally given a verbal offer 😂
Maybe, I get a solid 9 or so hours actually. So no shame

If you have a job and are up for promotion, always negociate. If you end up in the upper end of a M salary band, your raise will be lower. I'd also do due-delligence on the culture and how they deliever work.
