I’m in a difficult situation. My manager assigned me to a support project saying it was development. I worked sincerely but received no guidance. Now I’ve been released, and HR may issue a showcause notice, saying I refused work. I’m worried about my job and sincerely request guidance to resolve this so I can contribute effectively.

What level and service line were you at the big 4, and what percent salary increase did you get once you left? I’m a S1>S2, and the offers I’m seeing are around 10%-15% higher, which feels a little low. But maybe I’m being unrealistic.

Anybody moved back to USI recently? I'm supposed to travel back soon and getting a bit anxious about the 14hr journey (haven't flown since the pandemic began). Would it be fair to ask Deloitte for business class instead of economy? I guess it would be easier to maintain social distancing in business, but would it even matter?

Is there any stigma to saying no to an offer without another in hand? I landed an off-cycle offer at a decent fund but after thinking through, want to take a shot at some of my other funds as well
