Miami will be tough depending where you go. If you’re going to the popular/touristy parts (south beach/ocean drive) they typically demand higher prices.
I also typically like to go to nicer restaurants and I drink more than I should. I’d spend $400 in the first day - I also have a problem
My husband and I did this in 2018 before we had “real” jobs. Note that neither of us drink.
-Got a really good rate — maybe 130 after resort fee etc. for a pretty nice hotel in South Beach (not right on the beach; found it on Hotel Tonight)
-Cheap food for breakfast and lunch (Cuban pastries and sandwiches, fast casual) but sit down for dinner
-For activities it was just beach, walking around and an Uber to and from Little Havana to walk around and eat — all of that was inexpensive
If you eat at pollo tropical everyday you’ll be fine.
It’s only possible on that budget if you don’t drink.
Not sure what some experiences you’re thinking but consider transportation costs (whether you are renting a car or rely on Uber or walking depending on where you’re staying). Also depending on where you plan on eating, food cost can vary. You can find good food for cheap. If going to the beach, you might consider renting a chair and umbrella. If drinking you can always just go to the liquor store!!!
Absolutely doable!!!!
Stop by the hard rock casino in Hollywood and win big. You can have the whole trip for free! For me. That really does not seem like enough for Miami. I’m sure it could be done. But when I go to Miami I like to eat out, do a nice set up on the beach,
If you are looking for beach, go to ft lauderdale or boca. Or maybe even Naples/marco island. Restaurant prices will be a bit lower and you won’t have the temptation of fancy pool parties.
I’d consider Austin or New Orleans if you can find cheap flights. Also Vegas has some amazing deals these days.
300 per person is doable
Clearwater Beach is much nicer and it's doable on that budget.
