Hey! Any Google folks know if it’s possible to negotiate fully remote if a contract role is hybrid? Personally, I don’t want to relocate and go to the office on a contract role given the current economy. Plus, I’m assuming contractors are the first to go in layoffs. I just think it’s a fair trade off if I’d be allowed to work fully remote. I’m also trying to have flexibility to manage my Airbnb business in a different country. Same time zone as the home office if I’d travel weeks at a time.

I'm about to join TW after 2weeks.
I got mail from OKTA, I've filled laptop shipping details as well.
But along with that there are many more notifications like pf, nominee etc. Some needs to be send hard copy to Bangalore.
My question is..do I need so send it before joining or after joining?

I have got a very good offer that i cannot deny, but location is Hyderabad, I want this in Bangalore location. I am not onboarded yet, spoke to HR , he said it is not a big problem, Thoughtworks is very flexible.
Currently it is WFH, but once it is back to office.. I dont want to relocate. How easy it is relocate from Hyderabad to Bangalore, Thoughtworks

Jigsaw shows many openings without TWers mapped.....why aren't people being filled in it. Or has the management over hired ( I mean salary > average salary) and are not allocating and moving people out? Cause I see many existing folks moving to beach and then projects....haven't heard anyone say that they don't get calls or projects....something is strange.
Other way is check with all your contacts in tw.. there are many cases.. where openings will be filled directly by project team.. without much involvement by staffing team

It's same behaviour with everyone.. I'm also in bench since last two..
Whenever I ping staffing team.. they'll be saying like if at all some opening comes we will only reach out to you..
