A branding question. If FIFA stopped calling it the Women’s World Cup, would more of the world start treating it with as much reverence as the men’s World Cup, which is just called The FIFA World Cup?

When you’ve accumulated 14 days of PTO, would you measure that as 2 weeks salary (1 paycheck) if you exit the company? Or are salaried employees paid only for week days thus 14 days PTO is nearly 3 weeks of salary worth? What’s your take?

Any Accenture Interactive account folks on what makes a successful Account Lead at AI. I've been approached for a "Digital Transformation Executive" role, but my knowledge of digital transformation/CX/BX is cursory at best.

I crashed and burned pretty hard at Publicis Sapient (now back industry-side) and am wary of going back into the digital transformation space. However, the AI folks insist my general business background, MBA and brand strategy experience will translate to success.

If you do billable work on a given PTO/vacation day, do you still count that day as vacation? Or do you get that vacation day "back"? Or do you only get the part that you billed "back"? (Or some other option.)

Any Atomic Habit readers here? I’m brainstorming identity-based habits for two things I want to change:

-I want to bill more hours, so my goal is to become the type of person who bills at least 8 a day
-I want to drink less alcohol, so my goal is to become the type of person who drinks occasionally

I’m a junior in big law and in the short time I’ve been here, I’ve noticed that counsels produce perfect drafts and yet aren’t partners but partners can’t write two sentences without numerous typos. Shouldn’t counsels be partners and partners counsels instead?

Lateral that just went through first bonus season with the firm. Not in a major market but workload is comparable to major markets. Surprised at how low the bonus was. I received solid reviews and my annualized hours were well above the requirement. Should I approach anyone about this? Wondering if it is worth addressing or if it could compromise my standing. I lateraled into a niche practice group in Sept 2021. I also have a 1 year old and have been mostly remote since I started - but have been keeping busy tracking towards 2400-2500 hours. That said getting to know people only remote has been kind of awkward at times (email only can be tough to decipher) although as a working mom the pros vastly outweigh the cons. Yesterday my main partner asked me to come in Thursday bc he will be there and set a time to meet. Is this good/bad?? kind of nervous!
