I would like to know about the client interviews (especially in data science or machine learning roles).
Are these interviews tough?
Are these interviews meant to assess technical knowledge? For example, what is binomial distribution, what are different data structures in python, ml algorithms etc.
I would request each of the nagarrians to share their thoughts irrespective of the technologies you are working.

less paid, but has more flexible and international environment. As far as you are already inside norway and they dont have to deal with your visa issues, most vacancies will not differentiate between a norwegian or international candidate (but only in oslo, outside oslo there is langauge barrier in academia too).
You ask companies, so it is University of oslo and oslo university hospital. Not sure what your education is exactly but there are some lifesciences companies in sintef and oslo cancer cluster, check them. Also in forskningsparken.
Good references also help, if you are lucy to have them :)
