I have been looking out for a job in West Pune/ Remote jobs and searching and applying since 2 months. I have worked with premium brands like Godrej and Mahindra in the Real estate industry as Closing Sales Manager and my last position was Assistant Manager. I am looking for a transition from Sales to other department like Marketing, Consulting etc. I would highly appreciate if you may provide me with a referral to apply for the same (I am open to explore departments).

With everyone seeming to be “hiring” I’ve had job interviews with various firms: EY, Plante Moran, Doren Mayhew, Rehmann, to name a few..
Apparently I just suck at interviewing, or the firms in my area are not hiring. 🤦

Had a good phone interview on Monday, followed to that night with a thank you email (& some info he asked me to send over.) And... crickets. Do I wait another day to send another email? So antsy...

Has anyone left big 4 or other PA firms tax transaction service groups for industry (or know of anyone)? What was the role and salary bump, how are annual bonuses/raises in industry, what is a typical work week (hours) like? I don’t think I can take this always on just to stay afloat life much longer. For context I am considered a high performer, am near the top of the salary band at my level and have a great supporting network at Deloitte. It’s just not worth it to have zero personal life.

Help me save the day: have a massive excel file (600k rows) with duplicate records (column a, b and c are duplicate, not a duplicate if a and b are the same though). How can I filter for just these records? If it didn’t crash excel I could concat into one column, Conditional format for duplicates, and sort by color. What’s a work around?

Hey All,
I finished a third round interview, and HR contacted me that afternoon saying I had positive feedback across the board and they would contact me the next day regarding next steps. It’s been two days and they finally get back to me saying they haven’t been able to sync with the hiring manager but will keep me posted. Honestly I wish they would talk with the hiring manager and then let me know the decision instead of checking in. It’s messing with my emotions.

Are firms willing to clear an experienced hire? This is coming from someone that won't mind sitting in a scif all day.

Do you know anyone who was hired by their parents?

Any opening for marketing? I have 10 years of experience in marketing strategy & implementation. My precious firms include law firms and a public company. Any recommendations/referrals are greatly appreciated.
