Just started a PM job and 7 weeks into the role my manager is surprised I had not designed a roadmap. Is this bad?

Has anyone signed a contract to work for X amount of years with the government and then broken that contract? Are there repercussions? The contract was two sentences that said I would work for X years. That’s it. I cannot find any information online about what happens if you hate your new job so much that you quit. Anyone?

Any advice for someone trying to get a job as an electrical engineer with no formal degree? My current job has given me a ton of experience in this field. Engineers I've worked with have told me that I would check all the boxes in regards to what they want from an engineer except the degree.

My company went toxic in the last couple months. Chose me and started interviewing. Had a very successful interview with Amazon but recruiter is working hard trying to place me and said there’s no knowing how long to find a team. I’ve heard people say that despite having a legal degree that pay between CPA’s and lawyers evens out at manager level. Is there any truth to this?

As a law student interested in going into the field I’ve seen a lot of negative comments saying that only lawyers who couldn’t get into big law go into PA. Although I know most people try to get into big law initially, it is very competitive and many don’t stay past 2-3 years. You certainly don’t make as much going into PA as a lawyer but the pay is certainly not bad and the WLB is generally much better. Can anyone speak to how they got into PA and if you would rather be working in Big Law
