Anyone leave PA to work at a firm? What’s your experience been like? Any regrets? Tips?

Hi all, has anyone in supply chain taken one of the certification exams? (CPSM, CPSD, CSCP)
Does it help in any way besides refreshing contents about supply chain? I was thinking might be a good way to strengthen my resume (most of my career in investment analysis) but not really sure if it really brings that much value. very Selective jobs( MF PE and BB IBs) kinda blow these numbers out of the water... but for the more attainable exits like MM IB and and corporate development... considering wlb and pay, is the grass much greener?

Advice for studying for CISA? I’ve purchased the CRM, QAE, and Hemang Doshi’s book. So far I’m having trouble reading through the CRM because it’s so detailed that everything seems important and difficult to retain. I’m an incoming new hire so I think I should read the book even though I know people who have passed with only QAE (they were previous b4 interns)

Currently a paralegal at a small start up financial services company been there for just a little over a year. I wear “multiple hats” but more recently I’ve done a lot of PM work and some BA work. My position title is changing soon but I’m wondering how helpful that would be for wanting to go into PM work at a tech company. Anyone have any career pivot advice? People who are happy that the office is dead should reconsider. If the office is dead wouldn't that mean more outsourcing and less TC forward? Isn't it short sighted to think jobs will stay in the US if they are remote considering how expensive it is to hire here?

Does anyone else have “email social anxiety”? Not with writing emails that have to do with content/work I did, but when I’m “just checking in” and doing vaguely unsaid social things I’ve never understood well.
I feel super awkward and read too into things, it takes me 30+ min for a simple friendly email to a manager or above and I get worked up about it.

My SO will put me on the spot sometimes (he is an extrovert) and say just talk to me (it will just be us two). He generally talks a lot and me so much. The second he says that my mind goes blank and for the life of me I can't remember anything to talk about. It's like stage fright. Is this normal? Anyone else experience this?

I was giving my kid the advice that the path you sometimes believe you are on is not necessarily where you will land, in a good way, and to stay open to those paths.

As a law student interested in going into the field I’ve seen a lot of negative comments saying that only lawyers who couldn’t get into big law go into PA. Although I know most people try to get into big law initially, it is very competitive and many don’t stay past 2-3 years. You certainly don’t make as much going into PA as a lawyer but the pay is certainly not bad and the WLB is generally much better. Can anyone speak to how they got into PA and if you would rather be working in Big Law
