My view:
I would have gone with Amazon considering huge overall benefits gap. With the mentality that I'll have to work my ass off for next 2-3 years and not start whining in next 3 months.
- It'll certainly be good on my CV.
- I'll be in a whole different league during my next switch.
This makes more sense especially if you're not married or don't have children to look after.
I am not married. Maybe I agree with your point of view . I know Amazon is a good brand name . Hopefully I will get good team within Amazon that has average WLB .

My friend joined Amazon and left within a month. Reason - wlb and did not like the way amazon works.

I have also seen people suggesting to avoid the payments team as it has very strict timelines as it is of huge importance.
I would have joined amazon , considerable pay difference and at 6-7 yoe it is okay to push limits.

I got offers of 32LPA as well.
Some of the high paying companies are Siemens, Cadence , Synopsis, KLA etc that can provide 5*YOE as fixed or above.
However FAANGM are completely in a different league. 70+ CTC for SDE 2 roles .
