It's well said, people don't leave company they leave their manager. And same is the case for me also.
This person considers subordinates as Slaves.
And is full of attitude. Not sure how will this time pass.
We can do worst also

Exactly. Totally understandable. I have similar opinion for the middle management for Sopra. They are just puppets which act for counting hours of employee in ratio to work done. Extremely pathetic condition to work.

Be quiet and smile at them if you meet them. Just try your best to turn it to a lighter moment. I’m sure this shall pass. Don’t show your hatred or anything like that as you shouldn’t burn bridges.

Because if it was manager, then it's your pre-conceived notion and it will be like this until you complete your NP.
Friction arises when distance becomes more, check for yourself.
What I faced was when my position was growing and upper management started to recognise my efforts and ideas to grow, my immediate manager got very insecure.
I could feel that at every meeting and discussion.
My immediate manager was not so good at technical side but I have extremely good technical as well as communication and management skills which some where were disturbing for her.
I left Sopra due to this jealous manager. If she can’t see me growing , she would never let me grow further.
