If you are planning to go to a big 4, honestly speaking WLB is a big sham ! You not only have to work on projects but be prepared to work on firm initiatives, networking and what not. But yes, you will be rewarded appropriately if you are a top performer.
So if WLB is the most important thing for you, think twice before joining a Big 4. Having said this talk to people within the practice you are joining, to get a clear perspective, since each division has a different way of doing things.
All the very best !
Getting 17lpa you must have quite some experience in working in service based company. We all know there's no answer to wlb in any service based company, highly depends on manager and project and common who are we kidding, big4 is nothing but a well groomed service based company just like WITCH or accenture.
So please dont ask about wlb in these companies. Someone having a good exp will have nothing but praise about the company, hearing this you'll join and will and may face hell.
Just go with whichever is paying you more.
I would recommend, don't go for synchrony. Work quality and pay scale is very less as compared to market. Moreover , politics in company is pathetic. You are at the helm of managers , if they don't like you, you will be harrassed and tortured. Technology wise they are still using the old base tech stack . Learning curve is very poor
I also have the same question in my mind. Recently got offers from PWC and Accenture.
How is data projects in Accenture ? How about wlb in Accenture ?
If I were to pick between the two for a similar pay, I'd probably go with Accenture. I have been part of really good projects and always had really good wlb. Only problem for me sadly is the pay isn't getting anywhere.
Only my opinion based on what I have been seeing on different forums on how effed up wlb is in big4
