I received a call from HR for Associate Director-QA opportunity with HSBC, Pune. She told that I will have to first clear APTA test post which interview will be scheduled. I cleared the APTA assessment yesterday. Any idea how long would it take to receive interview invite? Also, how many rounds of interview will be there and what level of questions would be asked? Is Associate Director in HSBC equivalent to VP outside?

What are the designation levels in the major financial institutions? It's confusing because some consider VP and SVP more senior than a Director, and some have SVP one level lower than a Director like in Citi. If you know the levels of whichever org you work for, please comment on this post. For example in Standard Chartered:
it's Associate, Associate Director, Director, Executive Director, Managing Director (3 levels).

I have family members who are inside claims reps for a large company. The company sends out emails 4 times/day showing who is currently not available for calls. To everyone working in claims in the entire country! It’s been a minute since I worked in claims. And never for this particular company. But is this shaming the new way to manage WFH.? Sounds at least toxic.

An offer HSBC is in pipeline ( 28 fixed as per Recruitment consultant). Position offered is Senior consultant specialist.
However I know that there is scope of pushing the offer till 36. Any inputs on getting the offer to desired figure would be helpful.
