Hello, I’m an associate (almost at the one year mark) at a midsize firm on the EPL team. I did about 2 years of employment law as a clerk during school and know that’s what I want to go into. I’ve asked for more EPL work but keep catching PI cases. I second-chaired an employment trial but don’t see any EPL work for the foreseeable future and wasn’t getting as much EPL exposure as I wanted before the trial. Any advice on a lateral move to a bigger firm with a broader range of EPL work?

I am married, byt my wife is already covered under an insuance from her company. Can i take her name out and just keep my parents name in order to save the parental premium policy amount. How is this tracked in Novartis??

The stress of this job ruined my life.
The stress has lead to an eating disorder that I can’t get control of. I’ve lost 25 pounds since starting at the firm two and a half years ago. I am 20 pounds less than I was in high school... I don’t know how to get control again. Even when the stress lays off I can’t eat more due to being used to being busy for almost 9 months out of the year...

Ever feel awkward or judged for wearing a nice watch? I find myself covering my sleeves when I feel judgmental eyes on my wrist. Is this just in my head and no one knows what they’re looking at? I feel this might be the case for someone more junior driving a nicer car, etc..
