I dont want to scare you but its generally accepted that 1 math error is enough to jeopardize the entire application, and multiple your sunk.

Is this the same for corporate?
Honestly it’s not a big deal. Yes mental math is important but I feel it’s being over-indexed. The job requires you to have sound logic that is understandable for the client, not how fast/accurate your pen & paper math is. The math is done on in your excel models… let’s hope your math skills aren’t representative of your ability to enter the correct numbers and formulas in excel ;)
Depends how you botched it. If it’s a sig digit or minor error, then no big deal. If it was really slow, poorly setup, inefficient, multiple errors, etc., then that would be cause for concern
In general, consulting interview math isn’t difficult so the expectation is to do it relatively efficiently and without error
