I am about to get an offer from IBM ISDL Bengaluru location for Z performance team.
I am into mainframe modernization, mostly worked for application dev side rather system side but the job profile for which I am being hired need more system knowledge and less programming/application dev. I am not sure how difficult the transition would be, if anybody working in IBM ISDL or went thru this type of transition, please share your opinion, also the job security while this transition phase

I have a VC/GE interview coming up (phone screen) and personally don’t know much about the space , it’s just an area that has always seemed interesting.

Does anyone have Recommendations on how to get up to speed/good questions to ask during the phone screen?
