Hello! I am in the process of switching careers from insurance claims to IT Support Specialist. I have previously worked in IT. I have all the skills to move into this position. Any words of wisdom in this market to stand out?

What does burnout feel like for you?
I’ve been pedal to the metal, launching one or both of my two brands, filling in for departed managers AND direct reports who weren’t replaced, and living through pandemic madness for over a year now. The work never stops but I have never felt less engaged. The word “kickoff” fills me with despair. I’m burned to a crisp, right?

I'm 4 years into my career, currently I work at one of the largest public advisory firms writing research and taking advisory calls with CIOs/CFOs on strategy around IT Cost Optimization, IT/technology finance, benchmarking, budgeting etc. I enjoy the role but fear not being able to do much with this experience. I fear this due to the fact that I simply talk strategy and roadmaps with no technical experience of having ever done these activities myself.

I’m currently working in insurance customer service at an agency. I work in the mortgage department assisting w mortgage changes , payments etc. I’ve been thinking about becoming a claims adjuster most likely for property damage . Is it worth it ??? I hear a lot of talk about how claims adjusting is a lot of work and very demanding but I think my current position has prepared me for the challenge. What are some good companies I maybe should apply for after getting my license?

I have worked my way up in Insurance for 4 years but the 1st year being an intern/front desk/admin and was promoted twice and now an account associate helping my AMs/AEs manage our Producers' books of business. I was recently approached by a big brokerage for a Client Manager position. Just made a career pivot and accepted a job with Progressive in sales. I’ve heard more good things than bad about the company.
