Hello, I had a pre-interview call with the HR, and he informed me that the maximum CTC they can offer is ₹7.5 LPA. He also mentioned the salary breakup and that the role involves a permanent night shift.

I told him that the in-hand salary is almost the same as my previous job, where my CTC was ₹6.5 LPA. I also mentioned that I’m expecting at least a 30% hike. He said he would check and get back to me.

Although I’m currently not working, I’m hoping for some increase to justify the move.

Is anyone feeling especially burnt out lately? I’ve had to work weekends for the last month. I know deals are sporadic but it feels like they have consistently ended up this way where I’m forced to work weekends. Getting frustrated because pay has also slowed down.
