Hello! I would like some advice if anyone can give any. I have worked for a small legal office for just shy of two years(located on LI in NY if that matters). It's just me in the office and the Lawyer who started the office. He does have a paralegal who works from home and does one of the three types of appeals and he himself is fairly hands off. When I applied, it was as a Legal Secretary but I have been doing alot paralegal work. I make $20/hr without a raise since I started. What do I do?

compared with a role at a smaller mga, higher salary (around 30%) more , more visibility career wise and some great employee benefits , management seem to be supportive and low staff turnover

Went on Vacation and company owner freaked out that I’m away when there are some important deals going on. Ironically hes away this week too. Theres not much going on for me to do while away just some minor follow ups, but has anyone ever experienced this before? Howd you handle?
