Hello, I’m 25 and just starting as an IBD Analyst 1 at a BB. I’ve done a long off-cycle at a boutique IB (7 months) and worked for a major tech company before. Is it too late to start?

Desperately want to get into healthcare strategy consulting. 13 years of healthcare clinical experience including project work. MBA. But keep getting told by recruiters that I don't have enough experience to be a Consultant or Manager but that I have too much experience to enter in every level such as a Senior Associate. Just one rejection after another, even when applying with internal referrals from Director or Partner levels. What am I doing wrong?

Hi Everyone. I have been offered a role as Experienced Associate in PWC AC Bangalore in management consulting . But they didn’t offer any joining bonus. Should I negotiate for the same?

I was supportive of Lori when this virus first started but her actions since have dwindled my support of her. I don’t expect her to make every decision correct nor do we have to agree with all of them. I believe she should be correct around 75 percent of the time but I believe she is in the 50 percent range. Interesting all the noise about these PPT, my take:

The pandemic took all the upside of an IB analyst life (client meetings in person, fancy trips, suit up, worshiped at networking events) and left all the juniors with the downside (long hours, monkey-like type of job, aggressive work environment).

Not that the complaints are not sort of legitimate but you may need to revise the decision-making process that led you to accept a return offer. Specially if you were looking for less hours.

Any chance I'd get my ass into an IB with relatively low grade, but genuinly good work experience. FYI, tier 1 undergrad finance student from India!
