Okay finance lawyers. I don't understand this issue. Client says books show we're highly profitable but we have no way to pay our tax liability.... Well where the hell did tbe money go ? Client also claims that they are only taking a small portion of the revenue as profit. I don't understand how your books can be different than reality.

Why do people accrue prepaid expenses?

Hi All. I moved to a new company , I just got my take home salary and my current pay is less that previous pay ,because of different state and other taxes. My new company is better but the pay is demotivating me . It is almost $500 less per biweekly pay check . What to do get out of the demotivation? I wouldn't have minded the same pay , but $1000 less /month is a lot !

Is QEF inclusion dividend or not? Sometimes, I see QEF inclusion reported on Line 11i and sometimes on Line 6a. I think we can rely on Sec. 1293(c) but I think it’s not foolproof. My hunch is since QEF regime is tailored to treat the PFIC similar to domestic mutual funds, we should not treat the QEF inclusion as dividends. Any help is appreciated.

I was dating someone for about 2.5 years and then we broke up because of COVID and the long distance was making it too difficult to continue. The break up must’ve been like a 4-5 minute FaceTime because I was very distraught. I don’t understand how someone can lie about loving you for 6 months. We were together for almost a year (broke up a week before our anniversary). I said I love you first and he said it back. I asked for more reassurance last month with saying I love you more often. Now all of a sudden he said he didn’t know if he loved me and that love meant marriage for him. Hi all, wanted to share a couple things that have been real blessings to me and boosters to my faith lately in case they are helpful for anyone else: 1) CBSM - it’s a 4-year course that takes you though the whole Bible. Im in year 2 and love it. 2) Pints with Aquinas podcast. He has both long form/interview podcasts and also very short Bible study podcasts where he analyzes a verse or two and provides Aquinas’ view on it. If you have things that’ve helped your faith lately, I’d love to hear ‘em!

I’m a cradle Catholic and my faith has been a big part of my identity. I’ve been a liturgical minister, altar server, lector.. I’ve regularly gone for Catholic retreats, adult Catholic education etc. - all this to say I’ve been pretty serious and invested in my faith
However I’m having a crisis of faith right now. I’m appalled and embarrassed by the way in which the Catholic Church in America (where I now live) is IMO unashamedly political (cont.)

I know this bowl isn’t the most active, but my grandmother is in the hospital for Covid (severely high risk), grandfather has it, as does my mom and 8 year old brother. My mom is also experiencing PTSD or some form of mental issue where she has certain triggering events. Everyone is concerned about her and my grandmother. Please keep my family in your prayers
