Hello, I'm looking for insight into how to manage my company's equity plan.
We are a mature startup looking to sell in about 3 years. Currently we offer new hires equity in the company that vests on a 4 year schedule with a 1 year cliff.
As we get closer to selling this equity grant gets less and less enticing because people will not be vested by the time we sell anymore.
Any tips on how to address this or even adapt the plan?

If I get fired while on OPT without getting my H1-B stamped, is it useless or can it be used in future for some other job?

I'm italian, 26 yo and currently working in France as financial analyst.
Work environment is great, friendly and multicultural but I don't like the job at all.
Personal life is not so nice since I manage to see my family and gf every 30/45 days only. Colleagues have their own lives and at the end we don't hang out much.
My dilemma is:
A) going back to Italy at a lower salary with less growth opps but better personal life or
B) Switching my job here and hold on
