Hello! I’ve always loved Legos, so I wanted to work at Lego, but maybe something on the corporate side and something that touches six figures a year, I have been an account executive/store manager AT&T for the last three years. Does anyone have any ideas?

That would be a very fun job! I would look on their website and then do your research on what the salaries are for the roles they have open. That way you can see if there is anything you would be a good fit for.

Go to the LEGO group corporate site (FYI HQ is in Denmark) and look at the careers page. Research the jobs they have listed for the US and see where your skills align. If they don’t then that will give you a starting point for what you need to develop for specific career paths.

Well there are certainly a lot of legos stores that need managers. But if you're looking to go corporate, you could consider moving into sales or product management. You'd probably be happier in product management but sales might be easier to get into.

I’d love to shift to client side as EP or Program Manager and looking for advice on best way to get my foot in the door.

Feels like I’ve got the same experience as those in the roles but submitting an application thru sites is like shouting in

I am in a tech IC position. One of friends switched to FAANG by converting the profile to consultant profile. The friend who might have less tech knowledge than me is now in FAANG and earning more. Asking advice from a recruiter: I’ve been recently laid off :( This week I took some time to reflect, talk to friends and family. I want to be more thoughtful on my next move and although interviewing right away would be logical I feel I want to take a break and some time for myself. Take a month or two off working and use that time to plan thoughtfully on my next move. Would having that gap in my resume be an issue when I go back to the job market?
