I went through my gf’s phone and found out she had a crush on my best friend when we first started dating (over a year ago). 2021 Recruitment: What are the recruitment expectations for your firms this year? Is it going to be similar to last year with little to no recruiting in the UAE and some in KSA, or you reckon will be generally better?
My firm, a small boutique in the region, is only recruiting on a case-by-case basis this year.

Dubai people I live in Marquise Square tower and my neighbor is having a party literally every day till 4-5 in the morning- I spoke to him and he apologized and promised to keep it quiet but he didn’t. So I spoke to the security if they can tell them to calm down and the security said that he can’t do anything as it’s the weekend! Is that normal or should they give me a noise compliance and force him to stay quiet after some time.

Is the pace and WLB a lot different between T1 and T2 firms in the middle east?

I had the first round with a consulting firm and it takes them more than a month to arrange the final round and the recruiter is not being responsive. Is that normal?

How do you all plan for retirement while in the Middle East (especially for European folks)? Did you sign up for your home country retirement plan while abroad ? (My home country offers it but at a very high cost)
