What is current market situation should I change.

How do you know if/when it's time to switch careers?
My current job has a solid progression to make more money, but it takes years to get there. I make about $70k right now. As a data engineer/analyst. Primarily work on the engineering side, but I went to school for analytics. I never saw myself doing the engineering role, but when I first took it, it was a great start to my career.

I was offered a new position mainly in management in a completely different industry for $100k and bonuses.

After doing good work together, I won awards individually, turned down a job offer to stay in this company...was let go and it turned out my cd who dealt with my pay etc and decided where briefs went had never raised the job I turned down with management, I was earning less and he had been giving the good opportunities to the other junior ad. I had two technical rounds in tcs last month and now I have got the offer letter from tcs.

But I found one thing unusual that I did not have any salary negotiation call neither any hr round.

They released offer letter directly on ibegin portal with 60% hike on my current ctc .

Should I consider this as a fake recruitement.

In advanced stages with EYP and S& / PwC Deals Strat in Singapore from a T2 firm in the region and 4-5 YOE. Any insights on how the two firms are? (pay, prestige, progression, client base, project types, exit opps, WLB, etc). Curious on how they are perceived in the market.

I work at an agency that prides itself on doing the right thing and partnering with clients to figure out a problem.

We have a client that is typically less-than-engaged but on a retainer. When she's eager and engaged, she takes up a lot of time... a lot of time that takes away from others in her org.

Is it typical to credit a client on retainer for unused hours i.e. work more because they were unresponsive.

I understand the principle, but it makes it hard to service other clients.
