Hello,to maintain the Canada PR status, can I buy an apartment but physically stay in USA to claim the PR days? Is that possible?

If the ultimate goal is to move in pharma/biotech (bd / strategy type role), does prestige of consulting firm matter? Or would it be better to work for less known firm that may have more client facing opportunities?

Can anyone tell me the difference between a senior and lead validation engineer( no direct reports in both cases) in Pharma/ biotech ? I am not sure what’s the hierarchy and which level must get a higher salary. Or is it just referenced interchangeably in different companies ?

Recently been reinfected with covid Seems to be rare just wondering if others are retesting positive....I was positive in April went into lungs had it bad...this run seems to be much milder thank goodness Gi upset and lost of taste.

I feel left out in my firm. How do I make 'friends' with my colleagues? I've been here for a year. I am naturally not a very out going person, was never 'cool' and I struggle to speak in group situations / make engaging conversation with higher ups. It is an important trait to have in this job and I just don't know how to do this. It makes me very upset - I even sought therapy but wasn't useful. I'm currently on implied status in Canada (applied for an extension before the expiration date on my OWP), but lost my job two months ago. I'm actively applying (and interviewing) for new opportunities. What's a good time to mention to a potential employer that I'm on implied status? I tried coming plain from the first interview, but that has been working against me. The CIC website says I can keep working with an expired WP and SIN but recruiters think otherwise. Help!!!
