Hoping to get in touch with #Peraton recruiter! I have about 9 months left in Air Force where I work in cyber defense and vulnerability management, have a BA in cybersecurity, sitting for CISSP and have lots of certs. Would love to chat with someone about opportunities. Hold a clearance and could technically start in 7 months. Any help is appreciated!! Thank you.

A family friend sent my family a $200 gift card to ubereats so my parents could not have to worry about getting food when my grandmother was going through operations for ALS. I know it sounds odd, but it was a thoughtful gesture because the last thing we thought about were small details like eating while in hospital.
definitely something to make their time easier. Food delivery is a great idea. Maybe add a book or mag subscription to help them pass their recovery time.
I’ve been hospitalized & had to recover at home for quite some time not too long ago. Things I did back then which might include some gift-ideas:
- Watch Netflix with noise canceling headset (e.g. Bose QC II)
- Read books, but only when I was feeling much better
- Read magazines (e.g. Monocle)
Food delivery is also a good idea IF your mentor doesn’t have any dietary restrictions because of his/her treatment.
You might also consider getting him/her something for after his/her recovery, e.g. a gift certificate to go do something fun once he/she’s feeling better (spa treatment,...)
Thank you all!
