Help! I got fired yesterday with NO warning. There was no review, no probation, I was never pulled aside to talk about my performance, nothing. I asked what I did wrong and he said said, “sometimes it’s not a good fit”. He wouldn’t tell me what I did wrong. I’m trying to not internalize this and to keep my head up, but I’m terrified. I don’t know what jobs to apply for or what I want to do. Anyone have advice or encouragement?

I have a friend who was let go a few months into his first job after college (reason: the manager felt like he wasn't grasping the training content to the level that was expected).
