Did you check Rollstack? It's the perfect solution for these type of use cases: business reviews, financial reporting, client presentations, etc.
This looks very cool! Thanks for sharing
You can publish powerBi reports to cloud and use it for presentations directly instead of manually copy pasting data. This will also give you and the audience the ability to drill down on the fly with filters and dynamic charts. Don’t be stuck in early 2000s and adapt a better way of presenting BI reports than carrying screenshots over.
I’ve built soooo many dashboards and end of day , you want to show charts and numbers on deck with insights. Dashboards rarely work for this use case no matter how better you build them.
We use google sheets plus slides. Pain to set up but automated and collaborative.
Rollstack will help you automate this. Great solution to automate business reviews, client presentations, financial reporting, etc.
+1 on this for tableau if anyone has thoughts
Haha need the viz to build the stories
That’s all good and dandy MSFT1 but in most cases that’s what the client wants
Why arent you building dashboards that tell stories as you should be doing?
What’s your BI tool? PowerBI can export as PowerPoint although it’s been iffy on how it does it sometimes.
If you want to automate the screenshot part itself an RPA software can probably do it.
Have you tried just using looker? Make a dashboard or board of dashboards for your reports. Schedule delivery either as PDF, links or embedded. Is there a reason you can't do this?
(Each mode of delivery has its pros and cons: system performance, number of licenses users, need for end user training etc).
Have your datasets(if multiple) that's used for presentation stored in a location that can be accessed by tableau easily. Also have manual columns added locally within dataset instead of having it on Tableau.
Add a refresh schedule for data and Tableau refresh. That makes regular dashboards and can be customised as presentation for near to real time data.
I've implemented many of these.
Hope this helps
DOMO is the best tool across the market but is probably more expensive than your current looker deal. Has a plug-in for PowerPoint, word, and excel to keep automated data straight from pipeline to visualization to presentation.
Any rpa tool. Uipath for gui or if you can code use python selenium.
