I had a final interview yesterday and the recruiter sent a follow up the next day to have a final conversation with the hiring manager for 20-30min to clear up any questions from both sides that we might have. I don’t want to get my hopes up but does this sound like a job offer?

My most recent position has provided great exposure at a leadership and strategic level but due to a change in leadership and restructure I’ve been moved around to support directors on strategic priorities and don’t really have any quantifiable deliverables to reference on my resume - any suggestions on best way to approach?

Just recently given an offer within my own department, new role created just for me , base salary is def an improvement from my old salary. I decided to negotiate other stuff. But now I feel bad. Why is it as a women, and never being given the chance to negotiate before, I feel bad now asking for what I think I’m worth. I’ve been loyal to my company for over 15 years and gotten the shaft, and now that this has come up and seems like a good offer, I feel like I owe it to my self to negotiate.

I will be starting with a fin tech company next month in a management role I believe they are still in some what start up mode but they have just celebrated there 5 year anniversary. I’m curious to ask if anyone has any information about this, how will the fin tech companies be impacted in the next 12 - 24 months since I’ve been hearing we are going to have an economic impact downfall coming up? Weird question: so, I come from defense side, but am currently working as a plaintiffs litigator. I have applied to a defense firm and I’m currently in the mix of finalists. Coincidentally, I happen to be opposing counsel in a case staffed by one of the firm’s partners. He and I have a good professional rapport and mutual respect. I don’t think he’s on the hiring committee, so I doubt that he’s aware of my candidacy at his firm. But I think he would be an excellent reference. Can I say anything?

My LO is almost 6 months and I go back to work soon. I exclusively BF and pump 1-2x per day to maintain supply and supplement evening cluster feeds. I plan to keep my LO at home with a nanny and hope to continue BF/ pump upon RTW. I’m a FTM and don’t know what to expect of our BF journey in the 6+ month period, given that we will soon be starting solids. Is it worth it to dish out >$400 on a new pump at this stage?
