Yes they do send a joining kit. However i would suggest OP to do his/her due diligence before joining gartner as Right now it's not a good place to be in.

I agree. I was a perfect person for a role in Gartner and In 2025 they rejected me.
Later I got to know the entire team was laid off due to fall in the share price of Gartner and the redundant tasks they were doing internally. This came as a blessing in disguise but please do the due diligence. Most people are not happy with the current leadership team and they have been taking cost cutting measures across the company to save themselves.

I work with a junior PM who is not performing. Not my report, we share a mgr, but as a senior PM I lead the product. He can’t finish anything, needs a lot of coaching, I give him 2h/wk but I can’t afford more.
After 2mos I raised it to our mgr who promised to work with him. 2 more mos passed, mgr talked to him only once, no change in perf. I think mgr doesn’t want to deal with the problem. Now they ask if I want to manage JPM. It is going to be a ‘no’ but I want to ask some advice on all this.

Can we in the U.S. legitimately realize a tax loss by selling BTC at a loss and immediately re-buying it? Looks like this is possible because BTC is considered property rather than a security so it is not subject to the 30-day wash-sale rule.
