Ever feel disadvantaged by being the "new guy" at the office?
You're not alone: over 70% of new hires feel this way.
What if I told you it's your best launch pad for success?
I'm about to tell you why you have the absolute advantage.
Every disadvantage has its advantage.
When starting a new job, there will always be disadvantages to being new.
You may need to familiarize yourself with the software or the company's processes.
You may need to get used to how your new team works
Anyone know what the sales job titles mean at ADP ?
From what I understand
Associate District Manager = SMB Account Executive
District Manager = Senior SMB AE???
Mid Market AE = true mid market AE/super high up AE??
I genuinely have no clue, any clarification would be greatly appreciated @adp
Thoughts on PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP certs? I have approximately 9 years of HR exp and my bachelors and MBA. Been debating on whether or not I need to fulfill my urge to get a certification. Wanted to get some thoughts around whether you have a similar background and opted to or opted to not get their certification? Thanks!
Question.. is moving from ENT Sales to ENT Account management a good idea? Why or why not?
I was very successful as an internaional sales exec at a startup for 15 years before we were bought by a large publicly traded company. The culture shift was dramatic, as was the way that I was expected to work. I was laid off a tortuous 3 years after the buyout.
While I was in some ways relieved (put me out of my misery!) I spiralled pretty hard and after a while started working PT jobs, gig type stuff, etc. while I figured things out, and healed from burnout.
I’d like to be prepared for the initial phone screen convo, which will only last 20-30 minutes. The JD shows the salary range as 110-130(USD) commensurate with experience, but I’m happy to land anywhere in that range—yet I don’t think it’s good to disclose that. How can I tactfully still talk to the recruiter about landing closer to 130? Not trying to be greedy, but certainly aiming high!
Currently have about close to 3 years of end to end HR business partnering experience under my belt. Any tips on what's needed for me to better position myself for a consultancy role in the future? Any thoughts and inputs really appreciated!
Just wrapped a round 1 Account Manager interview with T-Mobile
Does anyone have experience with T-Mobile, share any insight, pros/cons, etc?
More specifically the role is managing Government Contracts.
I'm wondering if anyone has implemented a performance management system where individuals are positioned to their strengths and evaluated and rewarded for them as opposed to a system that encourages employees to stretch across multiple areas and then ding them for weaknesses.
For example, current system expects client service, talent management and sales. If you don't sell, then you're not as good as someone who does all 3. But what if your strength is talent and we could leverage that.
I am struggling with the fact that I have 13 years of HR experience in one capacity or another, along with a bachelors degree and my PHR designation yet companies say “I’m not qualified or they ghost me when I apply for HR openings. I am experienced in all aspects of HR. How are people with little to no experience coming right out of college obtaining higher level roles than I have currently? It makes my passion for the field just go away.
What's a reasonable yearly quota as a percentage of total book size? 10% of book? 20%? 50%? 100%?
Specifically SaaS sales, only existing clients.
Hey! Is there any hiring managers looking for HR / Talent Acquisition candidates. I have a MBA in HRM, 2 years experience within HR, was on track to become an HRBP at Amazon but chose to go into to Talent Acquisition due to a toxic work environment. I’m looking for a new role and would to speak with someone regarding new opportunities or even to discuss some pointer on how to pivot into a new role!
Looking to promote into a leadership title leading data analysts making $70-$90k a year. What would be the expected salary?
Would you take a pay cut to make a career transition within your current company?
How much of a comp difference would justify your well being?
Transitioning from sales to marketing, and my firm wants to cut my salary by 2k. Been at the company for a year, and have 5 years of professional experience but have been offered an entry level marketing role. What do you think I should do? What would you do?
If you were given a chance to change one decision you made in your life career-wise, what is it and why?
Hello! I’m new to Human Resources (7 months). I definitely want a career and to be quite honest, make a lot of money. I wanted to know if anyone got their masters degree in Human Resources and recommends it or if studying and acquiring certifications should also suffice. I’m currently trying to decide between aPHR and SHRM. Thanks!
How much equity should I be requesting or expecting from Meta for 5YOE Product Launch role (M7 MBA)?
apart from pay packages, wlb and other perks, shouldn't you consider the notice period of organisation that you are planning to join?
i feel that is one major aspect which we kind of ignore and then again crib later if it is >2 months.
What's the review of the new ZAIDYN platform by ZS? How is data & analytics(Revo) subgroup of it? Is it really making the power of AI, ML, Big Data and DS to it's fullest? Or it's just getting started and there is lot of (and exciting) journey ahead in Roadmap?
Got an interview with ZS, can anyone from there touch on how they feel about job security ? Pharma work mainly should be thriving ?
Please help me on below queries for JP Morgan Chase.

What percent does your company offer for a 401k match? If you’re comfortable sharing, what company do you work for?
My foster cat is getting adopted and I’m ugly crying. Can’t focus on work at all. But he’s going to a great lady so happy for him!! (vs me, a single traveling consultant)

When I’m online at 10:30 on Sunday night, that doesn’t mean I’m working and you can ping me about some BS that can wait 12 hours until we’re on the clock.
It means I’m watching the Asia open and updating my watchlist for my personal trading account.
My interim secret clearance was denied. Can (or should) this be appealed? What’s the percentage of people who are granted clearances after being denied interim ones?
