Hey everyone, so I'm in my mid-twenties and really want a long-term career in sustainability, but my resume is a bit thin—four years in retail and now long-term substitute teaching. Volunteering feels pointless since I'm unsure how long I'd have to volunteer to impact my resume, and finding an entry-level job in my state is tough because there aren't many green jobs around. Any tips on breaking into this field?

Let's say Family consists of husband , wife and a kid . I understand we will get good facilities, education, cleanliness , good air etc , however I wanted to check whether people gel up easily in the new environment? I’ve done 18 months of internal sustainability work such as building our sustainability practice, initiatives to get B CORP, SBTI, tracked carbon emissions, company campaigns for sustainability awareness, sustainability strategy. I want to move into a sustainability consulting role. Which area of sustainability consulting should I look at? Are there any courses or certifications I should do?
